Why We're Obsessed with Cupro Fabric: The Sustainable New Kid on the Block

Cupro is a regenerated fabric made from cotton, tencel & modal waste, adding the itty-bitty silky cotton fibres, known as linter, that stick out of the cottonseed & are too small to spin on their own. These are mixed & spun into a new fabric, cupro, which has the softness, drape & look of silk. However, since it is plant-based, it is vegan, plus you can throw it in the washing machine! Ours is sandwashed, medium weight, perfect for slacks, shirts, robes, and if we could have cupro sheets, we'd be tempted!

We work with two mills in Japan, both STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, using a mix of traditional methods & innovative technology to maintain their commitment to people & the planet.
